Lust is a 'Poverty' Mindset: When we chase illicit pleasure, we are fighting over a 'Paisa' (a penny) while a 'Billion' is waiting in our spiritual account. Brahmacharya is basically Spiritual Economics—saving small change to gain a fortune.
The Qualifier: Most crucially, the Upaniṣad adds a condition at every level: "This bliss is accessible to one who is well-versed in the Vedas and is NOT smitten by lust" (akāma-hatasya).
